At 85, my grandmother gently took my hand, sat me on her doily-patterned couch, looked into my eyes and asked, "What is it that your heart wants?" This question has guided my design philosophy ever since.

You see, that question had never once appeared in my family until that moment. Her earnest honesty drives me today, and it's that same feeling I experienced—that pure connection—that I bring into my work.

I design for the "ah-ha" moment, the "wow" experience, the instant where you question how amazingly real it is. Because great design, like my grandmother's question, cuts through the noise and speaks directly to what matters most.
